For the busy owner who does not have the time to supplement our training with nightly homework and exercises, it is quite convenient to drop the unruly pet off at Darwin K9′s comfortable, fun kennel, and return in 2-4 weeks on average to pick up your same but improved, loving four-legged companion. While in one of Darwin K9′s obedience courses, your dog will be completely submerged in an environment of obedience training. Typically your dog will get worked 3-4 times per day, with much needed rest in between sessions. The Board-and-Train Obedience Program offers the possibility for your pesky pet to Evolve into an integral member of your family in just a few short weeks!
My dog is trained but what about me?
Upon your pup’s completion of either our Basic or Advanced Board-and-Train Obedience Program, a Darwin K9 trainer will schedule an appointment with you. During this appointment, you will be shown the commands your dog has learned, how to make the best of your dog’s new-found obedience skills, and how to integrate those obedience skills into your daily routines.

Basic On Leash Obedience:
When you sign your dog up for Darwin K9′s Basic Obedience package, your pup will happily learn to do the following:
- Sit
- Down
- Walk with a loose leash
- “Off” command
- Stay
- Basic Recall
Advanced Off-Leash Obedience:
Lose the leash! Evolve to higher standards and gain the confidence to let your dog off leash. Darwin K9′s Advanced Off-Leash Obedience program will allow you to do just that!
In the Advanced Off-Leash Obedience program your pup will enthusiastically learn:
- Basic Obedience Package
- Off Leash heeling
- Off Leash recall (“come” command)
- Down in motion
- Down at a distance
- “On your bed” Command
