I am so glad that Darwin K9 is around. When I first thought about adopting 'Max' from the pound I knew that my first job is to set him up for success. Dogs wind up at the pound for a reason. My other dog Molly is a typical Cattle Dog and has been "protective" of me and full of anxiety. I'm glad that when I called - Alexia was very helpful and helped me to decide to put both of my dogs in training. I believe both Molly and Max are bonding with each other, gaining confidence as well as obsorbing obedience. Just wanted to let you know Elvis is doing fantastic! We have been able to walk around our property with no problems and today we went to the park and again had no problems, we were able to play ball and run and no issues. Thank you!

I decided to take Liberty to a different environment today--working off leash. We rounded the corner to my neighbors yard and what did we see? 10 running, free roaming chickens. Aghhh! Liberty started running after them and I called her. Guess what? She came to me without hesitation. Thank you Darwin K9. A month ago those chickens would have been dinner!

I am extremely happy with Bella's behavior. I believe she is much happier, knowing where her boundaries lie, and I know that I am. Thanks! By the way, I sing your dog training praises whenever I get the chance!

She (Ramona) is a changed creature! We sent away a maniac and got back a delightful lap dog.

Here at PACE Academy, we want to offer our students as many opportunities as possible to enhance their learning experience while in High School. I first met Alexia while trying to find volunteer opportunities for students who were interested in working with animals. Alexia was so amazing and on board with everything we were trying to accomplish with our students. We came to her facility for a tour and demonstration by Nero and met Andy and his dog as well. We now have a student working as a volunteer with Alexia on a weekly basis. This student, for the first time, is motivated to work hard in school so that he can go to work each week with Darwin K9. Last semester, Alexia and her amazing dog Nero came to PACE Academy to meet a large group of our students as a career presenter. Nero was able to demonstrate his Cadaver detection skills and just "wowed" the students with his training abilities. Darwin K9 is the elite example for Community-Based Learning! "My dog Cooper is a rescue with aggression and anxiety issues, and after a Veterinarian informed me that I needed to put him down, I turned to Darwin K9 for help. Fortunately, Alexia and Andy not only saw the great, loveable dog that I did, they taught him how to obey and to be less anxious. I am so happy that Darwin K9 saved my best friend! "I had been watching Darwin K9 for some time-Since the Olympics in '09 where Niko won the best trick competition. I was hoping they would add group lessons which they added during the summer of '10 at Dogtopia Cary. My desire to work with Darwin K9 was strong enough for us to drive over 3 hours for classes. Group lessons were important because Tri was a VERY under socialized mini German Shepherd. When taken out in public he would dive under what was available, try to run away, or if stuck in "bad place" for him he would do the meltdown. After the classes ended, Tri seems to enjoy going places and meeting new people and dogs. Who would have thought? He even has a Howl O Ween costume which he has worn on numerous occasions. His whole personality has changed. He seems very proud and we are very proud parents. TRI HAS EVOLVED. The classes are individualized. Each dog is doing what he needs to do. Problems and issues are addressed on an individual bases. Basic obedience is addressed in a manner which meets the needs of each participant. Every participant can be doing something different. That's individual attention. I found the quality of instruction to be excellent. The instructors were very qualified and genuinely interested in the well being of their students. They will do NO harm. I found the cost of the classes to be reasonable. A thorough evaluation is given and more than enough classes are provided to meet your needs and those of your canine friend. "I can't begin to tell you what an asset Andy and Alexia have been to 2PawsUp. When I have an issue or question about any of our dogs I immediately reach out to Darwin and they are always there to help. We often receive animals that have issues that need to be worked through and with their time, dedication, and guidance they help turn an untrained dog into a wonderful, obedient companion. In more ways than one, they have been a life saver to many "problem" dogs within our rescue. They have even created a foster training booklet for all new foster parents with tips and guidelines to be a successful foster home. "When I first called DarwinK9, I was literally crying. My husband and I were at wits end with our two pups we adopted a few weeks earlier. It was wrestle mania at our house. My husband was at the point where one dog had to go. Everything I knew about training was not working and I felt like I was letting down my two beautiful little girls.
